Dave Russell is the President of the AYFR.

Russell says there’s a lot that one can take away from the event.

“There’s lots more to learn.  Production is great, but managing your business is a multi-faceted endeavour, there’s a lot of information to absorb.  When you’re sitting on the tractor it’s easy to forget how to structure your business.”

He says AYFR is a great place to meet others.

“Come on out meet your peers everybody is at a different level if you are starting out, great.  If you have been doing this with your family for years for a while, we can learn from each other.”

Rural Roots Canada is a proud sponsor of the Alberta Young Farmers and Ranchers.
