Regina, Sask. (Rural Roots Canada) – Applications are open for the 2027 Saskatchewan Agriculture Student Scholarship.
Four scholarships are available, including a top prize of $6,000 and three runner-up scholarships of $3,000 each.
This year’s theme is solutions to challenges in agriculture. Students are encouraged to share innovative ways to address the issues facing agriculture. Applicants can explore a variety of topics ranging from technological innovation and collaboration to education and public engagement.
“I think it is a great opportunity for students to get their ideas out there and be heard,” 2026 Agriculture Student Scholarship grand prize winner Carson Green said. “If young people get involved early, it benefits the industry as a whole.”
