Blairmore, Alta. (Rural Roots Canada) – The Alberta Invasive Species Council (AISC) has released its Invasive Plants of Alberta guide.
The guide, now in its 5th edition, reflects the latest updates to Alberta’s Weed Control Act, offering up-to-date information to help identify all regulated and some unregulated invasive plants and understand their status across the province.
The AISC says the guide is beneficial for those working in invasive species management, agriculture, land stewardship, or anyone who wants to know what’s growing around Alberta.
A physical copy of the guide is available through the AISC’s online store. A digital version is also available.
