Langham (Rural Roots Canada) – SaskWheat is pleased with the results of its On-Farm Research Program.
Carmen Prang, Agronomy Research Specialist with SaskWheat, says the program has gone from sites on four farms in its first year to 11 this year.
“We are testing biological nitrogen fixation products,” says Prang. She says the first year was a great learning experience for everyone. “The farmers learned something, as well as myself to properly set up trials and how to best extend the results to everyone.”
