Lloydminster, SK (Rural Roots Canada) – Agri-Visions is back in Lloydminster from Feb. 11-12 for two days of agriculture education and networking.
The conference and trade show has sold out for three consecutive years, according to event manager Tammy Dyck.
“The last three years, the trade show was actually sold out. And some of the speakers themselves are actually starting to hear and request to come,” Dyck said.
The trade show fills three exhibition buildings while presenters speak on topics relevant to local producers.
Dyck said the event draws people from across the region. Last year, attendees came from as far as Australia.

“We definitely try to get people that are extremely knowledgeable in their topic and that are enjoyable to kind of sit there and listen to,” she said.
Canadian farmer and comedian Quick Dick McDick is this year’s keynote speaker at the Heart of the Farm banquet. Dyck said people in the area know how funny he can be. The banquet will have food prepared in-house by Red Seal chef Jim Armstrong.
Conference packages are available for one or both days.
Dyck said the response has been positive.
“Just come and enjoy it. It’s an easy night conference all day to hit the trade show, hit the grill. It’s fantastic,” she said.
