Dawson Creek, B.C. (Rural Roots Canada) – Farmers in the B.C. Peace will have an opportunity to hear updates on industry programs, research, and new technologies later this month, as the B.C. Grain Producers Association hosts its annual Love of Ag Conference on February 17.
“It is an informative conference for grain producers to hear about changes to various industry programs and ongoing research,” says Kathy Fehr, general manager of the B.C. Grain Producers Association.
Fehr says the event brings together a range of industry experts to cover both agronomic research and applied technologies that producers can use on their farms.
“We also have speakers, like just various industry experts, that do seminars on things like plant and soil health, different equipment and technology innovations that are out there that are available to the grain producing industry.”
Several speakers are being highlighted as part of this year’s agenda, including Mike Dolinski, Director of Science and Innovation with Taurus Ag, who will speak from a plant science perspective.
“He is a plant expert, and he is a fantastic speaker,” Fehr says.
