(Rural Roots Canada) – What do volcanos; farms that produce pineapples, bananas, beef, dairy, and buffalo; a coffee and chocolate factory tour, and catamaran sailing all have in common?

They are all part of the latest international RRC Ag Day Tour.

Rural Roots Canada, in partnership with Leader Tours, is excited to offer a new RRC Ag Days experience in Costa Rica!

Set to take place from November 26 to December 7, 2022, this jam-packed tour will take an in-depth look at agricultural practices and provide a healthy dose of adventure, rest, and relaxation.

Stops along the way will give travellers an inside look at an agricultural research facility and beef and dairy operations.

For the java lovers, a Doka Coffee Tour will quench your thirst for knowledge by showing you how coffee goes from bean to brew.

Want to know the work that goes into growing pineapple and bananas? You’ll find out the answers to those questions when we stop at operations that produce these popular fruits.

There will also be plenty of adventure with plans to journey to the rim of the Irazu Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, and Palo Verde National Park.

Equine enthusiasts will also get to see their fair share of quarter horses.

There will also be plenty of time to get out on the water, highlighted by a sunset catamaran sail.

That’s just a taste of all the things happening throughout this tour. And speaking of taste, there will be no shortage of opportunities to sample the local cuisine during the trip.

All that, and still plenty of time to put your feet up and enjoy the sun and the beach! This tour is the perfect mix for anyone looking for a bit of downtime while getting an in-depth look at food production in other countries.

The RRC Ag Day trip to Costa Rica is a partnership between Rural Roots Canada and Leader Tours.
