ACME (Rural Roots Canada) — “We want to showcase the good that we’re doing with the environment and the food we are producing.”
The Sawyers from Acme, Alberta are no strangers to being Agvocates. They are always making comments like that on social media, in meetings and conferences, when they are picking up farm supplies, and virtually everywhere they go to promote agriculture. Now they bring that message to a reality-based web series produced by CropLife Canada.
When people tune in to season 2 of Real Farm Lives, they will get a look behind the scenes at the everyday routines of the Sawyers as they produce food for the world.
Matt says while being in front of the camera is not new to them with all of the agvocacy work they do, filming this sort of feature was.
“It was two very long days of having these cameras follow us around, and it was exciting, but it was also a lot of hard work.”
