Cutting Horses and riders from across western North America were on the Calgary Stampede grounds for the better part of six days, October 9 – 14, and showed why they’re the best of the best at the 2018 Cutting Horse Futurity presented by Wrangler.

In the Open Futurity Finals Justa Swingin Cat and Gerry Hansma from Granum, Alberta took home top prize.

This Cats Lethal and rider Dax Hadlock from Oakley, Idaho were on top of the podium in the Open Derby.

Travis Rempel and NVR Reylena from Fort Langley, BC found themselves in top spot after the dust settled in the Open Classic division.

Amanda Digness and Reys of Moonshine from Millet, Alberta took home top honours in Non-Pro 7Up

There were Co-Champions in the Non-Pro Classic as Downtown Calico and Heather Pedersen from Lacombe, Alberta as well as Catatulla and Matthew Anderson from Sturgeon County, Alberta tied for top spot.

First place in Non-Pro Derby was also shared between to two teams.  It went to Come Away With Me and Chad Eaton from Arcola, Saskatchewan as well as Crimson Coug and rider Samantha Goodman out of Liberty, Utah.

This Cat Dreamin and Emma Reinhardt from Irricana, Alberta were on top of the podium when the dust settled in the Non-Pro Futurity division.
