Calgary (Foodie Farms) – This week on Foodie Friday our friends at Foodie Farms are making Basil Banana Smoothies.  A great morning smoothy to get the day going or an afternoon beverage on the deck. A healthy way to keep you on the move.


  1. 14 Fresh Basil Leaves
  2. 4 or 5 Ice cubes
  3. 2 Bananas
  4. 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
  5. 1/2 Cup Syrup
  6. Ginger to taste

  1. Combine Cream, Ginger, Bananas, Syrup, Basil, and Ice Cubes in the blender
  2. Once all of the ingredients are in, blend until the consistency is to your liking and serve.
  3. Serves two people
