Prairie Weather (Rural Roots Canada) – There has been some reprieve from the hail as adjusters continue to assess hail claims from the last several weeks.

With harvest continuing, adjusters are working hard to get to fields and assess the damage, according to the Canadian Crop Hail Association.

Most recently, there have been only reports of spotty hailstorms across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba with damage ranging from light to medium. In all, 176 crop damage claims were made from isolated storms during the week of September 2-8.
