Prairie Weather (Rural Roots Canada) – The Canadian Crop Hail Association says minor, isolated storms are still causing crop damage across the Prairies.
Between September 9 and 15, 140 crop damage claims were filed throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
“With the hail season coming to a close, we remind you to leave the proper samples if you haven’t seen an adjuster and are wanting to harvest your fields,” said CCHA Chairman Scott McQueen.
