Calgary (Rural Roots Canada) – The Alltech ONE Ideas Conference is quickly approaching.
The conference is set to take place May 25 – 27.
Jenn Norrie is the Communications Manager for North America and Europe for Alltech.
She says they have opened up registration for this year’s event, and there will be 11 tracks for participants to select from.
“We have a lot of On-Demand presentations, we will have streaming keynote presentations, and also new this year on the virtual platform we will have an interactive networking experience,” Norrie said.
She says that will allow attendees to connect with people from around the globe.
Last year, there were more than 21,500 registrants from over 126 countries that gathered together online.
Norrie says the future tracks are going to discuss a wide range of topics.
“They’re going to discuss challenges and opportunities in major ag sectors such as dairy, beef, aquaculture, crop science, equine, pets, pig, and poultry. We have more than 40 topics slated for discussion this year at the ONE Ideas Conference.”
The virtual platform will allow attendees to attend to take in as many sessions as they want.
“If you don’t have time when they’re launching on May 25 to 27 at a certain time of day, you can watch them later at night; you watch them on the weekends, you can watch them exactly when it suits your time frame.”
“You can watch all the presentations that you want to see.”
Norrie says the hope is to return to an in-person conference in 2022.
“We’re really looking forward to the opportunities this year and what we have to offer.”
